Sticky Toffee Pudding

Sticky sweet dates, pureed into a deep dark spice cake thats baked in a pool of soft caramel. The end result is a sticky, rich cake that is perfect with coffee in the morning, or to end a nice meal at night. Fancy enough to stand up to a 4 course dinner. One cake serves 6, or 8 but not in a generous way.
