Southern Style Pound Cake

My mother in law's recipe. A super tender cake, made with a little vanilla and a little tiny scrape of lemon zest. We're sending you an 8inch loaf, which will serve 8, and makes a beautiful breakfast treat when toasted in the morning. These freeze great and are wonderful to have on hand.
