Tomato Pie

Juicy field tomatoes layered with fresh breadcrumbs, Homeland Creamery cream, lots of salt and pepper, and nothing else. No mayonnaise. No cheese. Doesn't need it. Baked in an all butter pie pastry, this serves 6 breakfast, lunch or dinner. Here for the season.
